We're ok. Can only post from phone, as wifi and cable are out. Still have power. Couple big trees down, one took out neighbor's fence. House seems OK. Will post pics when wifi back up, or you can see them on my fb page. Maybe I can copy url from there and post here.

I lived in St Johns County for 3 years and took A1A from Ponte Vedra Beach to St Augustine everyday for work. I passed all of that everyday. Vilano Beach was such a cool little place. I hope they can rebuild.

We had some damage at our place in Daytona Beach Shores. Big tree down in the front yard. Fence all down. Broken window. Heading down after work on Friday to fix/clean everything up.

Oddly, we never lost power. We did lose internet/cable. Came back this a.m.
Lost a portion of the big pine we'd tried to get down for the last month. Fell across the front sidewalk. Note the red tags on the 2 trees that'd already been planned to be taken down.
Another tree and a half came down in the back yard. One came up by the roots, if you look way in the back, you can see where it trashed the neighbor's fence.
Largely symbolic, given the scope of the rest of the mess, but the driveway is now clear. (You can see the downed backyard tree at the end of the drive.)
Tree people have already been called. Mrs. K will call insurance to see if it will cover any of the cleanup, and/or damage to neighbor's fence. Not sure we're legally liable for the latter, given the whole Act of God thing.
