Weigh in Wednesday

Ok all you dieters and New Years Resolutioners... This is the accountability thread. Every Wednesday, weigh yourself and modify your post to keep track of your progress.

Here is my weigh in diary starting this morning.

219.5 14jan09 notes: Rode the stepper 20 min each day so far.

222.0 21jan09 still riding the stepper. wth

219.5 28jan09 bumped up my will power a little this past week. This sucks biggrin 2 times on the treadmill instead of the stepper. Hopefully next week will show a bonafide loss.

217.5 4feb09 Finally biggrin

216.0 11feb09 :thu:

On Thursday morning it will get a bump so that all can see the progress (since modifying a post doesn't bump it). Or maybe I'll bump it Tuesday as a reminder to weigh in.

Here's my spot. I'll weigh in next week, though :embarrassed:

1-15-09 I weighed in this morning. 271.4

That's a good idea...

But I'm am trying to gain weight by building muscle so this probably isn't the thread for me (for track)...

Good idea still...

All New YEars Resolutioners should do this...it WILL be effective!

You can be in on this, as long as you are working toward your goal. weigh in and post

Cool thread...I think this will keep me motivated.
I weighed myself this morning at 175lbs. My goal is 150 and so far I've shed off 5lbs although it's probably water but I'll still take that smi

1/14: 175lbs.
1/21: 175.5
1/28: 173.5
2/4: 170.5
2/11: 170.5

Great idea and thread though!!!

I don't really have any weight resolutions either, as I don't really need to lose weight, I just need to tone what muscle I have.

I'll go down to the basement and weigh myself right now though.

Okay, the scale in the basement says I'm 180.25 pounds. That's fully clothed and wearing shoes, but it still seems a little heavy to me. I usually weigh in around 174 at home.

January 15: 180.25 pounds
January 21: 180.75 pounds (I'm going the wrong direction!!! However, it is freakin' cold, so I'm wearing a heavy sweater.)
January 28: 182.50 pounds
February 4: 176.5 pounds.
February 11: 178.0 pounds.
February 18: 179.0 pounds.
February 25: 177.0 pounds.
March 4: 177.5 pounds.
March 11: 177.0 pounds.
March 18: 176.0 pounds.
March 25: 175.0 pounds.
April 1: 176.5 pounds.
April 8: 177.0 Pounds.
April 15: 176.25 Pounds.
April 22: 176.0 pounds.
April 29: 176.5 pounds.
May 20: 178.75 pounds.
May 27: 175.75 pounds. 8)
June 3: 176.0 pounds.
June 10: 175.5 poounds.

October 9: 170.0 pounds.

I'll play your silly little game. Although, I think it won't do anything but depress me. I have been trying for nearly two years to lose weight, and I mean I work out a lot - and the weight just won't come off.

15 Jan 09: with shoes and gym clothes = 165

11 Feb 09: with shoes and street clothes = 167

18 Feb 09: with shoes and street clothes = 168

22 Apr 09: with shoes and running clothes = 168

Things are not looking good for me.:HB:

27 May 09: with shoes and gym clothes = 164

I'm back on track and really working hard

I'm in. 185.

Im spending 30 mins a day on the elliptical, and lifting weights.

I don't need to look at a scale.....

I dropped 10 pounds in 2007 and I have stayed between 180 and 190 for over a year. On some scales I'm listed as 'over weight', which is stupid because I'm pretty thin (I'm 6' 1'" tall). I like using BMI myself and I'm at 24 on that chart, which is a bit above ideal, but still acceptable.

Why don't we aim for Friday, though Thursday is just as good for me....

smi hey tele, nice ideal about this thread. I started the jogging thread and for a while it was pretty popular and I think it helped people including me lose weight.

From July to Dec. last year I lost some weight, but my goal is to lose more weight before June of this year munch0 just got to stop munch0 after 6pm. I think that is the trick idn_smilie
