Nope. Tupelo and Memphis first half of the week. I'll be up there Thursday.
 
I don't have any nut files. :( I need to pick some up at some point, since Mrs. P's old Epiphone acoustic really needs a new nut and saddle. I tried to do it without the files, but it was a pretty fruitless venture. :(
 
I have some tiny files I use for nuts. Couldn't tell you the sizes, but I'll try to remember them.... my brain is starting to get full. :embarrassed:
 
Drum throne has been purchased. It's cheap, and probably not going to be all that comfy, but it's a drum thrown and you can adjust the height.

Still, Andy (or Scott), if you want a comfy throne, you might want to bring your own.
 
Awrite, are there gonna be any guitars strung up with 9s?
I might be able to get by with 10s, but I've got girly hands--I can't do no 11s.
 
I use 10-52's, but on a 25" scale instrument, I think the string tension is about the same as 9.5's on a 25 1/2" scale.

Also, I practiced that duet a couple times the other night. :)

I've got 9s on my Wolfgangs and on the Fernandes. I could string one of my Warmoths with 9s too if you'd like. Not the orange one though. It feels a whole lot better with 10s than it does with 9s.

I've also got 10s on my LP, Edwards, and Agile 335 copy, and being 24 3/4" scale, they feel like 9s on a Strat does.

You won't find 11s on any of my guitars, though my acoustics do have 12s on them.
 
Does anybody actually know how to play High Enough? I've played it before and can probably fake my way though it, but we probably need at least two guitarists (one acoustic and one electric) and a bassist. I have no doubt that whoever is playing drums at the time can get through the song if they've ever heard it before. :embarrassed:

So, who's gonna play what?

I don't care if I play acoustic, electric, or bass, but I'd prefer either acoustic or bass so somebody else can tear up the solo.
 
It'd be nice to play at least one Foo Fighters tune too, but I really don't know any well enough to play them. I could probably follow along well enough if somebody else knows it though...and I'm more than happy to sing it if I know the song at all.

Ooh, I've always wanted to play a Wolfgang, and I covet your Fernandez too. I'm set.

I've got the acoustic part and the Tommy Shaw vocal worked out.
 
We've gotta do Don't Stop Believin' too. I'm pretty sure we won't have to worry about somebody else knowing the guitar part, since the rhythm part doesn't really do anything too funky. I'll play bass on it. Once again, I'm sure any of the drummer present should be able to get through it.

I'll have both of mine ready to go, so you'll get to play both a Standard, and a Flametop Special (both MIA Peaveys).

I've gotta warn you...you may just fall in love with the Standard. It's probably the best playing guitar I've ever owned. The word 'buttah' comes to mind. :embarrassed:
 
I know most of The Pretender and Everlong, though there are a couple parts I'm not 100% on (like the clean intro to The Pretender.) I know most of My Hero, Monkey Wrench, and Aurora. :shrug:
