Official Pre-Pragestock 2011 Thread

Drums and bass amp have been relocated to the living room. I'll probably drag a couple of guitar amps down there before I head out to work this morning. Then this evening I'll get the PA set up, and maybe get the attic cleaned.

Prages.... the "stage" is going to be downstairs this year? I'll bring a pair of LED flood lights (those ones that are only 2" thick) and we can use them to wash the walls with color. They'll just color cycle but should add a little more atmosphere to the video taping.

:thu:

I was trying to figure out a lighting solution. There's recessed lighting right over the drums, but it's just plain old white bulbs and wouldn't look too good...and there's no way I'm going to set up any regular par cans and add to the heat. LEDs are a great idea, but I don't have any.

So yeah, if you can bring them, that would be great. :thu:

Sure thing... and they're super easy because they're so small.

Groovy!

I think I still have one of those laser projectors somewhere. If I find it, we can have a laser show too. :embarrassed:

I haven't seen it for years, so the chances of me finding it in the next 3 days is pretty slim. :embarrassed:

Oh, and in case anyone is counting, the first Pragestock guest (Dave) should be arriving in WV in about 51 hours. :thu:

Actually, I guess Jaxn Slim is already in town somewhere, but he's not coming up until Thursday evening, I guess.

Bring about 50 of those suckers and we could have close to the setup on the country band.

I had originally been planning to buy 6 more of those this summer.... but between medical and car expenses, I don't see that happening in 2011. :(

I'm going to the local music store today to try to procure a proper (and cheap) drum throne. I remember last year that a few of the drummers were less than pleased with my office chair with the back removed. :embarrassed:

If I can't find a cheap one, maybe Scott can bring one with him. If not, then maybe Chuck can bring his.

Is this the point where I'm supposed to say "It's because Drummers aren't used to sitting in office chairs. They're at home delivering pizzas and flipping burgers."

Let the drummer jokes begin..... :helper:

I can bring my throne if you want. It's a pretty big, beefy one.

If I can't find a cheap one I'll let you know and you can bring yours.

Or you can just go ahead and bring it so there's a good one there, because I'm not going to spend more than about $30 or so for one, and you know it's not going to be a really nice one at that price. :embarrassed:
