I'll have both of mine ready to go, so you'll get to play both a Standard, and a Flametop Special (both MIA Peaveys).
I've gotta warn you...you may just fall in love with the Standard. It's probably the best playing guitar I've ever owned. The word 'buttah' comes to mind.

The is one bit of bad news.
Those in attendance last year will remember that we had Palladium on the TV pretty much all weekend.
That was just a free preview, and we no longer have the channel.
Of course, since the jam room is in the living room this year, there's really no point in having the TV on anyway.

Indeed. I imagine Scott can handle the drums on it (he's kind of a BMF). I know the basic chords and such but haven't figured out the riffs or anything. If I can just sing it, that'd be awesome.

The good news is that Peavey no longer makes them, so you can't even buy a new one unless you get the new EVH Wolfgang, and the Standard version of that costs $3200 or so.
Of course, used ones pop up on eBay all the time.

I always forget about that one. My band back in the mid 90s played it when it was new, though I haven't played it since. I remember it being pretty easy though.

Any extra bass parts are always appreciated by this large group that struggles with 4 strings.
When I invited Chuck, I told him we were short on drummers. He asked how we were for bass players. I told him we had none, but we had 25 guitarists that could pretend to be bass players.
He was not amused.

Looks like Monkey Wrench is in B with drop D tuning.

Yup. The trickiest parts are not coming in early for "What have we done with innocence?" and getting the intro right. Most tabs I've seen do it wrong. You've gotta start on the 11th fret of the G and get your open B and high E droning along.

I was planning to head that way mid-afternoon-early evening. Does that work? No, I don't have to be anywhere on Friday.
I've been playing My Hero and Big Me with my current band. I could probably pull of the bass part of Big Me if I have to, but the guitar parts are really more my thing.
