Official Pre-Pragestock 2011 Thread

I added my stuffed mushrooms, Tele's stuffed peppers, and Eloys pepperoni rolls to the food list.

I'm bringing these too.

Fresh off the machine...gotta clean off the double stick tape goo yet :thu:

I'll buy some Rocky Mountain Oysters - pack them in dry ice, and send them ahead to WV so everyone can enjoy them!!

Yes...I am kidding....

Good news.

Those who attended Pragestock 1 might remember the kick ass salsa that our friend and Mrs. P's coworker, Julie, made.

Well, we were camping with her this weekend, and she gave me two quarts of it. There might be a little left for Pragestock. :embarrassed:

Thanks, tele! Those plates are awesome! Now I've got an extra plate though, so I'll need to build a new amp to put it on.

Tell her I said "Please Please Please Please Please Please!!!!!!!"

The plan for me is still to leave work Thursday at 4:30 from Richmond and get to P-stock whenever I get there. I'm thinking I'll either make, have drummergirl make, or bring some pepperoni rolls. They're a WV regional delight that I think a lot of people will enjoy and also a great "grab and go" snack for this type of event for in between meals. So you can put me down for that.

Google says around 5hr 40min, so expect me around 11ish I guess. Enough time for a little jamming before bed. :thu:

Are you bringing the Accordion? If not, I wont bring mine. Let me know if there is some unusual instruments you may bring ! I'm bringing nothing as far as I know unless you do :) See you in a couple of weeks Scott !

Haha, no, I don't think I will. I've spent hardly any time with it in the few years I've had it, so I can't really play it worth a lick. It might be fun to learn a simple cover song with the wildest instruments we can come up with, but other than that I think it'd just get in the way, lol. If you want to do an accordion duet you can pick a song and a key and I can try to learn it, haha. Otherwise I think I'll just leave it at home.

But I'll certainly be seeing you in a couple weeks, accordion or no. (barring act of God, knock on wood) I'm pretty excited. I think I'm driving drummergirl crazy with how much I keep bringing it up.

If that is indeed true - I seriously doubt it makes it past Thursday night. She makes a mean salsa!

New drum heads have been installed and vaguely tuned. I'm sure both Scott and Chuck will think they sound like shit, but I know where my drum key is this year. :thu:

So, does everybody that's coming have directions and phone numbers, and do you feel comfortable with the directions I sent out?

Fly into Yeager.

Walk down ramp.

Someone familiar will probably be there. If not, call people.

Yeah - I'm good....

Maybe PM me your flight info so I can check the status before I leave work. I know last year you were delayed by about 20 minutes due to a thunderstorm in Charleston while your flight was coming in for it's final approach.

Will do....

I need to check and see if any flight times have changed anyhow. They already changed once...

OK - my original plan was to take Wednesday - Friday off next week and the Monday-Tuesday the following week.

But I have enough vacation so I'm off all next week as well as Mon-Tue the following week. No rest though - I have a butt load of projects around the house to get done...

Sweet!

It would be nice to have all next week off for me to get all the stuff done that needs done around the house. Not that I'd get anything done if I were off all week. :embarrassed: I'll just have to cram in the mornings and evenings.

Tentative good news...

mum can't take Gins, but she says has some kennel coupons at home, one of which she thinks is buy two days, get one free. Depending on their rates, I might be able to swing that. :)

Do it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's looking really good. If Aahzz is still up for a trip with Junior Gorg, you can officially put me in the Pragestock attendee column!
