Friday - ran errands, saw this being parked across the street in front of my favorite neighbors house:
Then while we were at dinner an even more decrepit pickup truck was parked in front of my house. I wasn't happy but I figured it was someones relative visiting for the weekend.
Saturday - went to work and while I was wrapping up got a call from my next door neightbor that the guy in the camper had gotten into some sort of fight with another neighbor and that something needed to be done. When I got home I found out that the guy in the camper was "renting" curb space and electricity from the white trash guy who lives across the street from us, who is losing his house in a few weeks anyway and that they had met in jail. All news to me. After a "neighbors summit" and a conversation with the guy across the street who is losing his houses mom (who lives two houses over) it was determined that if the camper was still there on Monday I'd be calling the police to deal with it. Nothing like having an ex-con living in a camper in front of your house.
Sunday - mowed the lawn, went to get a Christmas tree and by the time we were back the camper and the truck were both gone, so apparently someone got the message (via mommygram, I'm sure). Tonight we went to the tree lighting in the town center and dinner. I'm stuffed.
