Waiting for the White Trash Apocalpyse.

And I have never understood the mentality of someone destroying a house because they are losing it/jumping rent. White trash is too good of a term. now I can see where you probably are not going to clean the carpets and scrub the shower, but give me a break - someone has to pay for all of that. We have some friends who own a rental home and they had a set of renters miss a months worth of rent and when our friends went over to see what was up they had left the house and stripped it in the process. They took all the appliances, all the light fixtures, kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets - everything. And punched holes in all of the walls and burned the carpet and linoleum. Over $10,000 in damage to the house for no reason what so ever. :mad:

Same thing happened to the house across the street from my folks place when the tenants were evicted.

Guy took a sledge hammer to every single fixture in the house, let his animals use the carpet as an outhouse (at least they think it was the animals), put the hammer through every single piece of drywall on all three floors and destroyed all of the appliances and broke anything you could possibly damage. The owner had to gut the place down to the studs & joists before that could renovate and rent it again.

Cement down the drains is pretty common around here. Nothing like being pissed off at someone else be cause you can't pay your bills.

update. Apparently "foreclosure day" isn't until the 4th. I'm not sure if that means that they get kicked out that day or what. Not a thing has been packed and apparently the two brothers and the nephews have been brawling daily with each other. It's kind of like a trailer park thunderdome in there. :facepalm:

anyway you can relocate the family for a few days. It might get too interesting over there....

Why don't you have a camera set up catching all of this? It can't be that much to get one of those little webcams that can be mounted on a roof or a telephone pole or something like that. Screw privacy rights.
