RIP Harold Ramis

Murray is not well liked by a lot of the folks he has worked with, much like fellow feudist Chevy Chase. His work record over the last two decades has been much better than Chase's however. :embarrassed:

I know Wes Anderson gets a lot of crap for his "hipster" films, but I love them and Murray is always cast perfectly. And I'm 100% with Howie... great actor.

Yeah, he comes coming back to working with Anderson and Jarmusch. I'm fine with that.

One of the best pieces of advice I've ever received as an artist was this: "choose your own assholes."

Which is why I firmly believe his career was only made possible by the brilliant work of Mr. Ramis. His reputation for being hard to work with might have otherwise found him struggling in relative obscurity.

To be fair, that probably works both ways.

He was involved in Animal House.

He was one of the writers. I just checked out his IMDB. He wrote or directed (or both) Animal House, Stripes, Caddy Shack, and National Lampoon's Vacation, to name a few. Those are some of the best comedy's of their day if not all time.

Groundhog Day is one of my favourite, most-watched, cheer-you-up-on-a-rainy-day movies.

Obvious fan of Ghostbusters and the rest, but that one is extra-special.

Every time I hit Groundhog Day while flipping channels, that is where I stop. It is one of my favorites as well.

No ones mentioned Multiplicity yet? I think it tops Groundhog Day. But they're both funny insightful movies.
