I was shocked to hear he had been sick. He was one of my all time favorites. A very sad day.

He apparently had a rare vascular disease, and had been sick for a while.

He was only 69.

He brought a lot of laughter to my life. Caddy shack is still my favorite movie of all time.

Very unexpected and sad. He was a good guy that made millions laugh over and over. He will be missed.

I think I should unpack my action figure of him from Ghostbusters...right now, Murray is the only one on the shelf
 
Wow.. that's a shock!

He made a lot of great movies, behind and in front of the camera. No list of great comedies is complete without one or more of his films.

Had no idea he was that old.
I guess I'm still living in the 80s.
 
Groundhog Day is one of my favourite, most-watched, cheer-you-up-on-a-rainy-day movies.

Obvious fan of Ghostbusters and the rest, but that one is extra-special.
