OFFICIAL 2013 NHL hockey thread

It seems that you are excited, Scott. I am too! It's unlike me but I've been following the playoffs. At this point, they reserve a seat for me at the local bar. It looks like I'll be spending more money there over the next few weeks.
 
The Kings-Hawks double OT game was a good one to watch. The Kings have nothing to be ashamed of.

I agree. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the game. The Kings played hard and fought well. I thoroughly enjoyed that game.
 
I just got home from Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Triple Overtime! The entire crowd was exhausted by the end. Go Hawks!!

Holy mother of god am I tired today. But it was so worth it to see the 'Hawks win in the end.

Probably wasn't, but I wouldn't know. A friend has season tickets, and he called me on Tuesday afternoon to see if I wanted to go. (Full disclosure - he uses them for business promotion for his work, so I don't think it's really coming out of his pocket, either.) It was a cheap night for me. :grin:

I bet it was up for grabs at the end :cool:; also , those seats probably cost the same as a really nice guitar :eek:
 
I'd rather have the guitar. I can see the game in my living room or at the local bar.

It was pandemonium after that goal. It was so much fun to be there. The excitement and energy in the UC last night was incredible. It's a great memory.

I'm sure it was. Due to the weather I watched the game at home last night. I usually go to a local bar. I really missed the environment at the bar.

Yeah. I'm a lush.
 
Rask has been incredible the last few weeks, which made the winning goal all the more precious!
