Now that I'm thinking about it, if I sent the auxillary return to the master bus, it'd probably work just like it did in Cubase instead of having a seperate track for the aux return. I'll have to try that when I get home.
Of course, having a fader on the main mixer for fx levels will probably grow on me. I've been on my old system for so long that everything is going to take a little bit of time for me to get used to.
Learning curve. I haz one.

I might be misunderstanding you, but you should have inserts at the top of each channel strip for your plug-ins specific for the channel and then below that sends if you wanted to send that channel to something like a global reverb.
It'll be different from Cubase to an extent, but not as different as switching to something like Logic. Which I still haven't bothered to learn yet.

..when I first tried PC recording, problems like crackles and latency would just kill any desire I had to actually record music. Thankfully, my set up is stable now and I'm pleased with the results I'm getting..huge learning curve though.
