He's always a harsh critic.

What's odd is that if you look at who voted for what, he still voted for my song, even though the review was pretty negative. idn_smilie

Yeah, he really comes across as a complete douche. Is he in the competition? Where are his songs to be judged harshly?

I want Prages' voice with Eric Johnson's lead playing. I like my rhythm playing so I will keep that, if I could be a little more creative with it. I'd be a kick ass musician if I was able to do all that. :embarrassed:

Yes, he does have a song in the competition.

I'm really only familiar with the songs that he's submitted for the contests over the years.

He's a good songwriter, but like so many of us, he suffers from having a very, very recognizable style, and if you aren't into that style, you'll probably not like his songs very much.
 
I really dont know who to vote for. I really like 3 of them. A lot. For different reasons of course but man this stuff is GOOD!

I'd like to have my voice, but with micwalt's range.

It'd be nice to be able to play guitar as well as him too.

Dude, dont change a thing about your voice. Seriously. You sound good doing a lot of different styles and you have the rare ability to have a great metal edge to it without sounding scratchy or silly. I LOVE that. Dude, cmon, you did SAVATAGE convincingly. Zach Steven is, IMO, the greatest rock/metal vocalist EVER.

I can already judge by comments who wrote at least two of today's and I know the vocals will give them away if they are who I think they are....

And you are right - Micwalt's vocals are too freakin' good. Especially the background stuff he does. That goes for Tamoore as well. The vocals he did for 'Rocket Girl' last year were sick....
 
I'm having problems streaming the songs this morning...I'll have to listen a little later and see if I can get them...
 
Maybe my site is running slow since a bunch of folks are accessing them right now.

You should be able to download them if the streaming doesn't work.

I'm not as familiar with yours as i am Prages and Micwalt.

Do you have a soundclick site i can check out? You prolly have mentioned it so i apologize in advance for being dense.

You really don't want to listen to his stuff. He sucks ass.



















Really though, you need to listen to about 10 of his songs before you hear the song in the contest for the new song to have full effect. :embarrassed:
