Pick scratch on the strings (6th and 5th) with heavy reverb and slight delay.

I'm just talking about the rhythm chord progression. Heavy reverb would explain it more. I do the chord "shake" I think Jelloman alluded to. It's just such a cool thing that's probably easily overlooked, but I'm obsessed with. You talking a slight pick scratch? If so, I'm on board with what you are saying.

Best question to ask that band would've been, are you gigging? If so, how much? The usual response is: Oh we are working on our music and trying to get tight before we go out and play some shows. .....

I always interpret this type of response as " We are a garage band , and have no intention of ever playing out.
