College football jam.....

It's not the losing that is so discouraging. It's the way we are doing it.

I mean, the last two games, we've been outscored 104-28. And one of those touchdowns was a kickoff return and other came after Texas Tech put their backups in.

To much emphasis on offense and a very lackluster defense. You can get buy with a good defense and a so so offense unfortunately it doesn't work the other way around. Even in the games they won this year the problem was evident. They let Marshall put up 34, James Madison 12 (they should have made a fieldgoal or two at best), Baylor 63 (thats just horrendous even if they won), and Texas 45. You just can't go very far playing the track meet style games like Oregon. The offense has to do a better job of controlling the clock and giving the defense time to rest. The defense has to be more than some road cones and caution tape in from the the end-zone.

I just looked at their schedule. They are going to have to do something to avoid getting smacked around three more times this year. TCU and Oklahoma will take the wood to them, and Oklahoma State might beat them too.

Well, what I was worried about for the UW Huskies has occurred. Their stretch against teams such as Stanford, LSU, OR, etc. has the team which was already missing 4 offensive lineman beat up and disorganized. Dropped one to AZ yesterday. I hope they can pull it together to finish out conference play against Oregon State and Washington State, teams that they should beat if they are healthy. Oh well, they are slowly improving from where they were.

Yeah, our season went to hell in a handbasket. :embarrassed:

Calling our defense lackluster is being far too nice. From day one, the defense has been pretty much non-existent. You can't count on your offense putting up 70 points every week.

I'd be surprised if we even finished the year with a winning season.

Fucking Ohio State. These assholes are going to make me look stupid.

Hey, c'mon. You're doing a fine job all by yourself.

I'm now looking forward to the Ohio State v Penn State game next weekend, which I originally thought would be a matchup between a powerhouse and a losing record team...now it appears that it might be a game.

Yeah, it's not easy. I had 3 parlay's this weekend. And if Pittsburgh looses by no less than 3 tonight, i end up ahead.

These were only 3 team Teaser parlays. Its not easy. at all.

Yep, the Big 12 is a bit tougher than the Big East.

It may be early in the week, but I'm going to put up a few predictions.

OU beats ND by thirty.
PSU beats OSU by ten.
Florida destroys Georgia.

Mississippi State v. Alabama will be really interesting.

Oklahoma might beat ND but not by that big of a margin, I think it will be a close game.

Penn State is not going to beat OSU.

Florida will beat Georgia, Alabama will hammer MS.

I agree. I'm worried if ND's offense will be potent enough, but after the the first half of the BYU game, the ND Defense is back on their toes and will make it very tough on Oklahoma's offense. I expect to see ND's defense force OU to turn the ball over at least a couple times.

I predict that WVU won't lose this weekend.

It's our by week. :embarrassed:

Of course, I'm sure the defense can still find a way to give up 50+ points.

Good thing too. I was worried we would have to put the whole state on suicide watch..
