College football jam.....

Good thing too. I was worried we would have to put the whole state on suicide watch..

The fire fighters in Morgantown are happy about the losses. They don't have to put out a bunch of couch fires on Saturday night. :embarrassed:

One of my Facebook friends posted something like this:

"Watching The Walking Dead for the second time this weekend. The first viewing was at Mylan Puskar Stadium on Saturday night."

Oklahoma might beat ND but not by that big of a margin, I think it will be a close game.

Penn State is not going to beat OSU.

Florida will beat Georgia, Alabama will hammer MS.

1. OU has an offense. What will ND's defense do when faced with an offense? OU is 5th best...the best ND has faced is (get this) Purdue at 49th (and they're only 49th because they racked up a ton of points against Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, and Marshall...their only three wins).
2. You're probably right. PSU has a tradition of choking against OSU and Michigan. But Purdue did take OSU to overtime. Purdue.
3. Florida will not beat Georgia. They will destroy Georgia. They will make Georgia wonder where the hell Athens is.
4. Alabama and MS...8 ball doesn't tell me much, but I think Alabama will stifle MS's offense, but the MS defense will keep it closer than a hammering.

You are not looking a the right factors. You are looking at the games like ESPN. Look at them like a gambler.

Betting is illegal at Bushwood.

but seriously....explain. Do you mean the Las Vegas line?

I will definitely take OU -10.

Also, following my logic as it applies to Penn State: if PSU has to cover a spread, bet against them; if they're given points, bet for them.

No I'm not, but that's a better place to start, than power rankings of offenses and defenses. The line really doesn't predict anything. It is merely a device to even the betting on both sides of the book. A good thing to look at is the movement in the line of the course of a week. That will tell you where the money is in the game. Coaching counts for a lot. Stoops doesn't impress me at all. Brian Kelly is a far better coach. Coaching will decide the PSU game as it did the Purdue game. Purdue out played OSU but Purdue was schooled in the coaching department.

Oregon just hung 70 points on CU - and that was because they called off the dogs at halftime - and they were barely passing the ball. Oregon was up 56 - 0 at half and put the second and third string in for the entire second half. They cranked up over 400 yards rushing.

CU is just embarrassing this year. Well - that and Oregon is flat out scary this year. I know Rev is not overly impressed - but I am. It might be their year.

Yeah. Fuckin' Tigers. :(

Spartans actually won too!

An Cuff... how 'bout those Bulldogs?

I was 0-3 on my predictions...spectacularly wrong on all counts.

I have to hand it to Notre Dame...they showed up and shut down the Sooners.

Don't feel bad, I was wrong on one prediction..

Btw I accept cash, check, I will even take a credit card. :helper:

Yeah, I don't know. My definition of "good" will continue to allow me to enjoy Pac 12 play. We'll see if Oregon can do much when and if they play one of those "good" teams out east of whereever. :) Maybe not. But it won't ruin my enjoying a win for the Huskies over a ranked O(regon)SU.

They will get filleted like salmon when they play a good team.

A little northwest terminology there for you.:
