The wood on that top is Waterfall Bubinga with a bit of spalting going on. It came from a 2"thick 16ft long slab. There was a portion of the slab that had uneven coloring so I cut it off, thinking I would probably have to trash it. Since I had the saw going I bookmatched it. That was what was...

Sure, why the hell not. Been sanding most of the day and that gets boring fast. I just finished these two and shipped them out on Tuesday. Redwood German Carve Sisters (you decide which is the pretty one) The redwood tops were cut from the same billet, the mahogany bodies and neck from the same...

Here's another shot of the posted gutar.... no feet this time A Redwood carvetop... A carvetop of quilted maple over African mahogany.... All three of these guitars were custom orders for same customer who wanted an SG vibe but with symmetrical sized horns, thicker body and deep long...

Not my bare foot, but I will take credit for the fugly headstock. ;) I do have a straight string pull headstock available but everyone that orders a guitar wants the "Gumby". The next guitar I'm building for myself will feature the new headstock shape. And in my defense the chambering did...

"Got pretty marked up, didn't it?"

Hmm... Do they have a Beano Les Paul repro??? That would be pretty sweet as well.

So the Gibson Harrison/Clapton is a Custom Shop Repro? Got a bit of buzz on the 7th fret, don't it?;) The Strat sounds pretty killer though.

Guitars made of something other than wood...

In case you missed this vid. Premier Guitar's interview with James Trussart at his shop. I've had a chance to play 3 different models and each was equally cool with it's own voice and character. http://youtu.be/H7LpKPEC-Rs

No problem. Making a wiring diagram would be a serious undertaking. It has a superswitch 5way so it gets pretty complicated. But like I said, the coil cut pot is assembled/wired like a standard tone pot (cap and all) the incoming wire that goes to the middle lug is connected to one of the wires...

The pickups are Wolfetone Legend Pickups with a slightly hotter wind on the bridge pickup. I swapped the No Loads, the one's in the vid were 500k Linear Taper and had to be turned to almost 3/4 to get an audible change. I used some Bourns 250K Audio Taper and just modded them to No Load...

Thank you for the comments guys. I really do appreciate it. Yep, the wiring gets kinda crazy in there, but once I got it worked out I pulled everything (pots/switches/wires) out, reinstalled new electronics and rewired with shorter leads to make it neat and tiddy. Still want to change the tone...

Psychotronic, I understand why you could have interpreted the thread that way and I'm sorry about that. I was really hoping that this thread wouldn't come off that way. This guitar is mine, it is not for sale, and I did not post price/cost. I built this guitar specifically for myself and it...

It has this kinda arch top vibe to it in person even though it's flat top electric. I find it interesting how a flat top and a non "floating" pickguard can affect playing and tone. I'm used to 2PU guitars like LP's with the guards on a bracket to kinda support the picking hand a bit. With this...
