If the US can get lucky and not draw Germany in the next round they have a pretty good shot at the Semis since the team they would face in the quarters is the winner of South Korea/Uruguay. A pretty good path if they can avoid Germany.....

Uruguay is a tough one though, they still haven't conceded a single goal so far in the World Cup. And unlike the US, their strikers are way more efficient in the goal scoring department.

I expect Germany to win their match tonight, so most likely the US will face Serbia. That should be quite an ok opponent.

Germany - England should be a right thriller, although I'd prefer to keep both in the tournament for a bit longer...

I think the US would struggle against Urugauy unless their strikers can grow up a bit and play for the team instead of themselves.

As much as I'm glad both they and England went through, i reckon Germany will flatten England if they meet int he next round.

I have been rather proud that the England's fans seem to be the only one's capable of drowing out those fucking horns with their singing

I think England are absolutely fucked against the Germans unless they get the finger out pronto.

Couple of interesting matches already lined up. The USA should go through I'd imagine, thatd be a great tournament for them if they did.
