.....so.......I've just started watching this layne Staley doc. and nhis first band was pure late 80's hair but there is some Mercyful fate/King Diamond(esque) in his vocals. Then they changed their name to AIC then he disbanded the group and joined Jerry's band and his vocals have changed to what he was known for....pretty farout

Heck yes…I had forgot all about them, going on a binge now….like AC/DC they basically had one song but oh what a song it was ! Also no other band creates an aesthetic as good as The Fu….total late 70s California

Yep, great voice for sure. I will watch tonight ! BTW in the documentary above it's kinda funny they sent John Frusciante for the intervention although he was clean I guess at that time i guess
