The antique white is nice. Its a color that can go anywhere and not look too out of place.
I think I got this last coat all even in color and such. Lets see how it looks after some 400. If I can make white look good, I think I'll go with it. Mixing it yourself, it can be a little tricky to get everything right.

Well, mom never has let me play with sharp things, so you learn to get creative.
You should see me trim the lawn with a pair of spoons.

The best laid plans and all that. Just too many fuckups that needed covering up.
Many a painted guitar got that way because A) The wood was ugly or, B) The sunburst got fucked up.
I have a misaligned seam and paint will make it go away, so...

The neck definitely looks better. No lacquer on it yet, but it's a nice improvement already.
I kinda dig that ivory color. May need to use that one on a whole guitar one day.

It is! Almost ready for the clear.
I need I do one more spray white coat. I picked up some duplicolor Ford Oxford White.
The shellac paint by itself was too inconsistent in color and I kept sanding through so I decided to use it for a primer/sealer coat and do lacquer color.
The Watco clear I have doesn't use any UV inhibitors and yellows over time.
