Walnut Hollowbody Build

Haven't posted anything lately. Been busy and what work I am doing is just sanding and staining, so, not much to report.
I have, however, just finished putting in some side dots. Here's one of those gruesome "in progress" pics. I drilled the holes and set them with epoxy, then file and sand smooth.
The dots are 6mm plastic make believe pearl things.

And I've been going over the fretboard with a straight edge. Had a couple of buzzy frets.
I tracked down two and just a few licks with the file set em straight. This fret job is a far sight better than my first.
 
And, I shot a video of the walnut ebonizing process. It's two minutes of pure adrenalin!

I hadn't noticed before, but there is a single "stripe" of figuring in the top. It shows best when it's wet, but it is subtle.
