Oh, it will be a while. The studio district in Las Colinas has fallen on hard times, and DSL has become half studio and half school, where for the princely sum of $21K/year you can get a full education in recording, mixing, and mastering. A buddy of ours is in the program and we are his project. We still have our first CD with dewdrops still on it, and we didn't have much of a plan, so after spending 4 hours of a 6 hour block fucking around with mic position and getting a drum sound and troubleshooting mic cables, we got two workable drum / bass tracks. But hey, free studio time.

Thats still pretty cool. Any way to get back in and finish or is it on your dime?

hey jello... did you see my idea for a shade tree guitar techs fret dressing tools i came up with? i posted it in the old OMG thread. i'm basically doing what you did with the file and hard wood, only i'm using carbon steel and a mill:grin:... do you want a set of them? i will have three different sizes for vintage, med. jumbo, and jumbo frets...
 
I actually agree, sam...give it a week or 2 and most of them will go back to some degree...


you see when people have been there for 5 or more years friendships build, just like this site, so it is going to return to almost normal soon

all of my friends are here at the moment... i don't care for 2.0 really, but with some getting used to... i think it'll be alright... you'll still see me here though...

I have no idea where I'll ultimately end up. Most of the folkks I hang with are here.
I haven't given up on HC yet but the new site is hard to navigate and it doesn't work with my mobile at all.
This place doesn't work too well on the mobile either though, so, who knows.
TGP works better on my handheld but it's rather dull.

Who knows.
