Shooting at Jason Aldean show in Las Vegas, 50+ dead

HLN just had on the head law enforcement guy on the scene (Sheriff, I think?) He's saying 50+ dead now. They played a video with the audio, it was a heck of a lot of rounds that were fired.

Sounded to me like an old M16A1 on full auto. It's been since 1989 since I've heard anything other than 3 round burst, so I could be wrong.

All I know is that it is so wrong to hear that in that atmosphere.

Doesn't Phil live in Vegas? He use to be a regular here - not so much anymore.

Holy crap, just found out some friends of ours (niece of my brother's wife and her husband) were at the show. They are okay and back at their hotel, but saw people shot all around them.

I'll never understand what can go so wrong with a person to make them decide to do something like this.
 
They're saying over 50 dead and over 400 wounded. The suspected shooter was killed by police. Older guy shooting from a 30+ story window. Jesus Christ.

News is currently reporting the shooter died of a self inflicted gun shot

400 injured, not wounded. lots of injuries are going to have come from scrambling over seats and barricades trying to get out of there.
