If I liked the doublecut body style... Dayyyyyummmm...

Yeah... I like the color and the specs... but the doublecut is um.... yeesh.... It's probably for people who think Pugs are cute. (apologies to anyone who has one of those adorable four legged goldfish. :helper: )

They play and sound amazing, though. The current Gretsch Electromatics are truly bangers!

That style of double cut seems a bit amputee. Otherwise, it's got some nice attributes.

That bass is on Facebook, albeit in an ugly stained blue finish, for $350. These end of year sales are kicking ass.

That’s an incredible price for that stand. And two expansions! They’re just being nice now because there’s no way that they were having trouble selling those at full price.

I actually picked one up last time it was the SDOTD. Definitely helped get my shiz in order.

It's like "Double cuts" "Unusual Guitars" "Unique Colors" were called and someone shouted "BINGO!!!"

As goofy as it is, I kinda dig it. I won't be buying one, but I've seen worse. BTW, what's up with D'Angelicos? They've been showing up on SDOTD a lot lately. I've never played one, are they quality instruments? Back in the day, I think they were primarily hollow body jazz boxes and were pretty high end. Based on the volume and variety of D'Angelics now, I'm guessing some corporate entity bought the name and is using it to crank out guitars. Not necessarily a bad thing, depending on what they're producing.

Man, they have so many fucking Washburn acoustics that they have to get moved before the end of the year or recycle them into cardboard to ship other stuff with. :embarrassed:

Shitty acoustics must have a 400% markup because they always have more to put on sale.
