When an unstoppable force meets an immovable object, somethings gotta give.
Yep, I guess the unstoppable force prevailed.Great game between the Niners and Ravens. Jackson is a force to be reckoned with, but he was somewhat tamed yesterday. It can be done. But for a missed FG and a turnover>TD, it would have been a different story. With the Pats self destructing, I'm hoping for a Ravens/Niners rematch.
Did the Pat's play without 8 due to the flu?Sadly yes.....this season's struggle is real!!!

Everyone is beatable. That's why they play the game.In a sense, yes. But the niners lost due to their own errors. Not to take anything away from the Ravens, but that was a tight game start to finish. The Ravens and Jackson ARE beatable.
The kid's got talent, that's for sure. Hopefully he's not one of those injury-prone backs. Time will tell. Well...that and the O-line.Guice was awesome yesterday. If he can stay healthy, he is gonna be a stud.

I don't know if it's being spoiled by the past successes, a little turned off by the franchise's lack of warmth, or what, but as much as I like the Pats' D I just see the offense as a bunch of irritating jerks. McDaniel, Brady ... who'd want to live next door to these dudes?
This is what I have been saying about him for as long as these threads have been going. Obviously he has been and still is a talent and has had huge success. I just never cared for his demeanor toward other players. And he has that prima donna QB thing that has always bugged me, since I was a high school football player.I would agree that Brady should process his frustration a bit better. Telling receivers to be "faster and more explosive" is like telling someone to be more handsome.
The Pats are going to wind up losing in Baltimore in January, barring the return of Antonio Brown.
They should tell the college football "playoff" people that. (using that term loosely, it is more an invitational). Either do playoffs all the way, or don't do them at all and restore the historic bowl games to their former glory. This pretend championship they run there bugs me. Esp. when the invitations get decided by committees.Everyone is beatable. That's why they play the game.![]()

No wonder the Texans won!
