For the last 30 or so years my wife and I have cooked a Thai feast. Fuck the pilgrims.

)I get an imitation turkey loaf each year just for the hell of it; I would never bother any other time of the year. I guess I have some traditionalist tendencies left. On the other hand, if I were on my own I wouldn't bother with it, so maybe it is just an attempt to assimilate some with Carol's family.
I am vegetarian for my own moral reasons but I don't care what other people eat. I did warn Carol that I would never cook meat for her, but I am not the kind who plays PETA tapes while she eats. Are you vegetarian? vegan?
I’m going to a friend’s house for Thanksgiving this year and he’s a vegetarian. So not sure if we’re having turkey or not. He’s not a moral vegetarian so it’s possible he might cook one up for other guests. I’m just bringing two vegetable dishes. Maybe we’ll be having turkey loaf (?) or tofu.

I read a biography of Gandhi at the impressionable age of 10; that had a major impact and brought changes to my life. My pacifist leanings took root immediately, but it took nearly 30 more years before I was able to go vegetarian. This New Years will make 30 years of being vegetarian.Well I believe the animals on my grandfather’s farm were happy, and that kind of farm doesn’t really exist today. I am completely against the way chickens and pigs are raised today and I avoid supporting that system as much as possible. I’ve never been a big beef eater and could live the rest of my life without it. I do like salmon and lamb. And if I have turkey tomorrow I will enjoy it (knowing nothing about the way they’re raised).

poll graphics look very KFCI searched Fox5 for this poll and couldn't find it. It might just be a Russian troll making an infographic to enrage Facebook users who think someone is going to take away their meat. Graphics look a bit dodgy to me.
Fox News, their father network, reported on a Harris Poll on this subject a few weeks ago. But it had these very different results. One, turkey is at the bottom with 19%. And even then it only means it is their least favorite thing; not that they will ditch it.
