White Elephant Song Assignments

I was supposed to get this done today. Of course when I fired up the recording PC today, the graphics card died. :embarrassed: :facepalm:
So now I have no idea when I can get it done. :(

Guess my plans on building a new puter for recording just got sped up. :embarrassed:
 
I would have been fine if I hadn't had to prepare classes at the last minute. :embarrassed:ops:

(That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :rolleyes:)
 
I kept putting it off because I hated the song. The next thing you know, I was out of time.

I still need to send mine to Rev. But yeah, I think it was supposed to be today. Personally, if a few ppl think one or two more days would give them the time to put something together then I'm all for waiting. But if an extension isn't going to make any difference then we might as well do it.

Frankly, I'm disappointed in each and every last one of you who didn't come through. You've broke an old man's heart. The one thing that keeps me going in these troubled times... Just broken.

A few more days isn't going to make a lick of difference for mine. You could give me another 6 months and I still might not get it done.
 
I think I'm going to switch back to Cubase. Logic just kicks my ass and nothing works out. Takes me forever to do anything in it.

Devo fans may like it. I really don't and it's not a song I could just listen to a few times and then wing it. Plus, I just haven't been playing much lately. The attic still has beds set up from Pragestock.

Mark, any time you're having a hard time just shoot me an email or give me a call. I'd be happy to walk you through it.
 
Sounds good. It's just not intuitive for me to be productive in. Plus not doing bunch of recording...I'm always rusty as far as getting around in it. I have that template that you sent, but it's way above me.

Let me know what you're trying to do and I can make it flow differently. Logic is laid out a bit differently than some of the other apps, but it actually simplifies the workflow, even if it physically lays out in a less familiar manner.

Sorry man, I *did* work on it, but that file was a clusterfuck and with you going all South America on us it just never got done. :(

No worries, unfortunately I haven't learned to do that stuff on my own so I have no one to blame but myself. :shrug:

Just to be fair however, I'll record one tonite. It won't be pretty, but it will be something. :)
