I am pretty sure Jason doesn't write songs for radio play. If he was in it for that, he would have accepted the invite for the Voice.

I get that, it just seems like Super 8 doesn't really fit the stripped down acoustic vibe of much of the rest of Southeastern. 'Cover me up' and 'Songs in the Shower' both feature the full band but don't seem as out of place as S8.

I don't think it is far off from 'Stockholm' or 'Fling Over Water' and it is very similar in style to songs from his first 2 albums.

I just picked up 'here we rest' last week but haven't sat down to give it a close listen yet.
