I'm tired.

Friday was our normal day.

Saturday was work until the blackout ([ame="http://markweinguitarlessons.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5961"]Teaching by flashlight - The Forums at MarkWeinGuitarLessons.com[/ame]). They didn't get the power back on until 10pm.

Sunday I got the smoker going first thing ([ame="http://markweinguitarlessons.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5966"]Smoker Sunday! Pork butt and....Meatloaf????? - The Forums at MarkWeinGuitarLessons.com[/ame]). I did a Pork butt and I asked Mrs W to make a meatloaf that I smoked. The everyone started coming over and we had an impromptu part.

Just got to hear one of my collaborations finished and I'm pretty excited about the reveal on Tuesday....

Friday- I think I had something in morning/early afternoon, but If I did I can't recall now. I do remember going to the grocery store and I ran into one of my friend's exes. She and I did a couple of musicals together several years ago and I hadn't seen her since and my friend split. Stunning girl, but our personalities and lifestyle's don't match at all... nice talking to her though and she never even asked about my friend. :embarrassed:

I came home and worked on some of my Fall Schedule work, but later on I got a call from one of my friends and they asked me to come down to he and his GF's flat to hang and drink. I hit the shower and drove down to the city (they have a beautiful loft  ) and the three of us drank two of the BIG bottles of Bombay Sapphire, played Rock Band 2 (I got a 99% on Man In The Box on vocals :embarrassed:), played a bit of guitar (she's learning to play bass) and then we went over the two scripts that they're producing and I'm going to be scoring. These are also my friends who work for Apple and they both have two new Macbook Pros... she has a 15" and he has a 17"! She's going to check on whether her discount works on reburbs, in which case I'll probably have one by October! I split around 4:30 a.m. and on my way home stopped for an Egg McMuffin, than came home and ate that and answered some emails before going to bed around 6-ish.

Saturday - Woke up to my entire room shaking. There was a huge thunderstorm going on outside and then I heard an odd noise... my cat Murphy was ramming his entire body up against my bedroom door for me to let him in. I open the door and he basically looked like a brown and black cotton ball as he was scared shitless. He darted between my legs, jumped over my bed and made a beeline for my closet, where he ran to the back and hid behind the dresser. This was around 9:30 in the morning. Went back to sleep and then when I woke up I did a couple of loads of laundry and updated my iTunes laundry while I worked on my studio policies and scheduling for the fall, then I sent out tuition statements. Finished up around 1:30 in the morning, so I went downstairs and watched Sweeny Todd with Murph, then came up to go to bed.

Sunday - Slept in til 1ish or so. Answered some emails, took a shower and shaved, then left for D&D. I was halfway there when we got a call that we wouldn't be able to play, so I turned around and headed home. In between I talked to various family members about my sister's current situation (since my family isn't capable of talking as a whole... all convos must be filtered through me  ) then met my mum for dinner. Came home and did some dishes, made Murph a fresh litter box and then watched some TV and plunked around on the guitar, plus read up on the scoring functions in Logic... that's going to be a lot more reading. :embarrassed:

Not much. 3 small, time consuming, children, etc.

Managed to take Sarah out for dinner and a movie on Saturday night, which was nice.

I have an MRI tomorrow, first since my surgery, and I'm kinda dreading it and feeling terrified.

Good luck with the MRI Flamencology..:thu:..I'm sure that having kids now must make it seem even scarier.

Friday - Work and er, that was it really.
Saturday - Sleep, practice, shopping.
Sunday - Went to the local farmers market, played along with "Rainbow Rising" :Totally_jammin_out: all afternoon and then started work on a new song with the GF.

Working from home today. :embarrassed:

Friday: Sucked. Mrs. P and I were arguing about finances most of the evening. :embarrassed:

Saturday: Got up and cleaned a little, then met some friends at Kanawha State Forest for a mountain bike ride. We rode for about 3 1/2 hours. Got about 16 miles of trail riding in, had a blast. Saturday night we just relaxed and watched an episode of Dexter.

Sunday: Got up early again and spent the whole morning straightening up the downstairs of the house. Then we loaded up the road bikes and drove to Athens, OH. They've got a really nice paved bike trail there. We rode 30 miles, then came home. Then I redid a few backing vocal tracks and mixed, mastered and uploaded the collaboration I did with Mark. Then went to bed.

Overall it was a great weekend. It started off rocky, but turned out great.

Next weekend....Pragestock.

Moving.

Almost all of my guitar equipment went over on thursday. In the rain.

Yesterday we moved 3 carloads worth and had to beg a cop to let us onto our new street because there was a street fair on the next ave.

The one bright spot of the weekend was that I got a memory foam pillow. My neck and right shoulder have been in knots for weeks. Considering I'd have spent $30 on pillows anyway, I went for it. My neck is still very tight, but I have slept better the past 2 nights.

Friday - got a surprise call from a neighbor inviting my kids for a sleepover. Did a little happy dance, then Mrs Aahzz and I went and saw the new Harry Potter, with diner and beer during the movie.

Saturday - took the kids and my mother to COSI in Coumbus - great place to spend a day with family. It was extremely crowded, but still fun. Stayed in C-bus for the night.

Sunday - went to North Market inm C-bus for some food browsing...brought home 6 pints of Jeni's Ice Cream on dry ice. Ate a CaJohn's X-tras hot Jolokia Smoked Sausage - yummalicious. Drove home, worked on my original for the recording fest...will have at least something, though I don't know how happy I'm going to be,m it still needs tweaking.

Good luck! We'll send positive MRI mojo your way....

I'm stoked with how it turned out.

It always seems to rain when I move (except for this last time. I had the stomach flu instead) :embarrassed:

Those are very tempting...my shoulder and neck have been a mess for a few weeks.

I found myself going into the Brookstone at the mall and using their demo of this:

on my forearms. Its ridiculous to buy at $200 but for some reason it just release a bunch of tension and knotted up muscle. Now I'm thinking of getting one for my shoulder...

Had an absolutely terrific weekend :baimun:

As mentioned earlier, I was playing a brand new festival (with both of my bands) that started up here. FWIW me and my bass player were the only 2 to play with more than one band :embarrassed:

Huuuuge stage, some of the best sound I've ever heard (they had hired in one Norway's best FOH engineers) - and some of the best playing I/we have ever done. It's so easy being good, when all you have to worry about is being up on stage and playing.

Especially Friday's gig with Wasted was fantastic.
Not too many people then, since we were starting at 3PM, but still a whole lot of fun :)
I think they had an attendance at around 5k or so, which is really good for a first year.

And since I was playing very early, I got very drunk on free beer later on

Yesterday was spent on the couch trying to come back to life.
Although very fun, I can still feel that weekend :embarrassed:

Anyways, an action pic of myself bringing teh rawk from the Wasted gig:

keep going to brookstone until they tell you to buy one or never come back again.

i'm probably going to get another massage next Sunday after this move is over with.

The weekend was pretty crazy(at least for part of the time).

Friday – came home and did some final rearranging of stuff for my GF to move in.

Saturday – got up at 6:30am and moved the GF into my place. We were pretty much done moving everything around 12:30pm, but spent the rest of the day putting things away. We had lunch with her family and dinner with my family.

Sunday – played tennis with my dad and had brunch with my parents. I came home and just watched movies(Planet Terror being one of them) and played guitar all afternoon.

As a side note, I love my Jackson PC1… love it!!!

Sat. - Shopping for crap for the house. BBQ at the neighbors.
Sun. - Worked on the house. BBQ at some friends' place.

The GF and i just had a really nice, peaceful weekend together. Friday we were tired, just crashed early. Saturday we got up and had a craving for hot wings, so we had Chihli's Wings for breakfast. hahaha. Did stuff around the house, then had to run some errands, ended up at a great filipino restaurant in Moreno Valley, i had a dish called Bicol Express, made with seafood, she had a filipino style omelette, i forget what its called.
