Weekend Wrapup

Basically stayed at my friend's house all weekend. His bachelor party was Saturday night, and of course we got wasted Friday night too. I'm still hurtin'.

The weekend was pretty crazy(at least for part of the time).

Friday – came home and did some final rearranging of stuff for my GF to move in.

:eek::eek:

Did I miss the initial announcement of this or is THIS the official announcement?

Not much. 3 small, time consuming, children, etc.

Managed to take Sarah out for dinner and a movie on Saturday night, which was nice.

I have an MRI tomorrow, first since my surgery, and I'm kinda dreading it and feeling terrified.

Mojo on the way to the great white North. :thu:

Thursday: Drove to Cheyenne for Cheyenne Frontier Days parade. It was really fun. Then we "toured" Cheyenne and saw Mrs. Steak's great gandma's house, the bank that her great granpa embezzled money from, and then their gravesites. Well, we actually never found the gravesites but the kids and I had a lot of fun looking for them.

Friday: Drove up past Vail to this cabin on Sweetwater lake with about 10 guys from work. Fished until dark, then went back, grilled burgers and drank beer and Patron until 2 am. OMG.

Saturday: Up at 7, fishing by 7:15. First sip of Patron at 7:30 (OMG). Napped at noon. Woke up to dogs and brats grilling at 2. Ate and went back fishing. Fished till dark. Lost 5 buck playing poker. Drank too many beers and too much Patron. NOt to mention, well, just best not to mention. Crashed around 2 again.

Sunday. Up at 8. Packed. Drove back to Denver (3 hours). Got home. Napped. Got up. Ate. Watched Rockies game with Mother-in-law who was visiting. Played badmiton with kids and wife. Leveled Rogue. Crashed.

I'm too old for this shit.

Friday - Relaxed a bit, then practiced guitar for awhile...

Saturday - Up early and off to a four hour band rehearsal. We have about three practices and 6 weeks before our first gig so we have to hit it hard at home. Came home and napped then ran errands for awhile. Grilled a couple racks of ribs for dinner. Practiced guitar again that evening for awhile.

Sunday - Lead the band at church and nailed a nice solo on one of the songs. Threw the remaining rack of ribs on the smoker then went for a long walk around the lake. Then it started raining lightly so I had to cut the walk short. Came home and my daughter threw on the movie 'Stardust' (what an awesome movie...).

Well I wasnt feeling well most of the weekend so I didnt do much. I worked on the collaboration with Suhnton which I still havent gotten right, hopefully I nail it when I get home today so he can submit it in time.

Went to lunch/dinner with some family, including 2 cousins who I havent seen in years. Cool to see them, and theyre turning into seemingly fine young adults.

No fat jokes about my wife, shes PREGNANT.

When's your baby due, Chihli?

That is the subject of a minor debate. We feel that she is further along than records would seem to indicate so hopefully all that will be settled at her doc's appt. tomorrow. We believe early September, docs say Sept. third week.

She just had an ultrasound this morning and the baby is almost SIX FREAKING POUNDS!

just make sure it doesn't go over 8. anything over that lowers the black market value.

Were afraid if it being too big, but of course not for that reason :embarrassed: THe baby is "above the 90th percentile" for size right now, which doesnt make a whole lot of sense considering the previous 2 were 6 something, and 7lbs 11oz

:msm:

I think Prages is in for it....

Jacob was 9 lbs 9 oz and got stuck...we nearly lost him. Thats why we went C-section with Sophia. If they think the baby is going to be big I would do the C-section.

We would both much rather do things naturally of of curse. We are definitely afraid of having to go that route, though, if she is not as far along as we think she is, and the docs are right. But we will see. The thing is, she has fast and relatively easy labors so we are really hoping this baby doesnt end up being a goliath.

Hopefully all goes well! :thu:

I can't remember...another girl or a boy?
