I know that Brian loved to mess with the DS1 so there is a good chance that it is based on that concept. Doing my own research, distortion approaches have taken all kinds of leaps and bounds as many DIY'ers have experimented. Pretty much what Wampler has done as well.

I myself am GASing a Plextortion but I did get two DS1's in that electronic purchase about 6 months ago. I want to play with them before commiting to something as I might find what I have been looking for.
