Master of the Meh
So there I was...

Working on a project in my garage/mancave last night when all of a sudden what should appear just inches from my bare feet?

THIS MOTHERFUCKER RIGHT HERE!

it's a tarantula......so what......i had one as a pet.
scoop it up and let it go outside. trust me.....they EAT other insects. good thing.
and they ARE NOT deadly poisonous. not unless you're alergic to bee stings....then maybe not so much.

I'll take the orange spray tan douchebags, politics, high taxes, corruption, traffic and all the other bullshit in Jersey as opposed to the remote chance I might stumble across one of those in my house anytime.

As crazy as it sounds, Mrs. OGG captured it and returned it to the Avocado grove across the street. One of our cats was about to go all Ninja on it.

I don't want them in my house... or even my garage, but they can hang out in the grove all they want.

Now, the Camel Spider that showed up not five minutes later in the exact same spot... Fuck that guy in his stupid fucking meathead face! He got dispatched with extreme prejudice. Same goes for the Widows and Recluses. Those Fuckers can rot in Hell. They'll find no quarter here.

I'm not a fan of spiders...that said, I don't necessarily want to kill them either. The catch and release option was the right choice IMO

Camel Spiders, despite their size are completely harmless. They are technically not even spiders

Two unusually large arachnids on the same spot within five minutes of each other? Is your house on an ancient Indian burial ground or something?

Keep as pet and feed small birds to it wasn't an option so I chose gently capture and return to the wild.
Tarantulas are awesome. I HATE spiders but a tarantula is cool to me.

Widows are freakin' everywhere here. My rule is if I find them outside the house then they get to live. Inside? They're toast.

I am a serious arachnophobe -- I don't even want to look at pictures of them.

One time while working on the backyard fence, I felt something on the back of my left hand and when I looked there was a black widow. I stopped breathing. I had a hammer in my right hand and had to actually restrain myself from smashing it into my hand to kill the spider.

My wife was gardening a few weeks ago when she happened to look down and see a big black widow crawling up her thigh. She did a dance that she'll never be able to replicate!
