It was 3.0. Actually it was the *bleep*ing that was getting in the way of my gutterspeak that got to me. We just thought that 3.0 blew chunks. We smashed all the tv's and raided the minibar before we left.

The "bleep" thing could have been handled better. Turns out they just wanted to be indexed by Google without the swear words so they wouldnt be considered a NSFW site. If they had just told folks that from the beginning and that it would be temporary it would have saved them a little trouble.

i don't know how it works over there but it definitely hasn't been the smoothest transition I've seen. We've migrated from SMF forums to vBulletin 3 to vBulletin 4 without any trouble. I've tried to let folks know ahead of time what changes they can expect and people always cut me some slack when things do go wrong here because of it (at least thats how I see it). 
I think their new platform isn't the most ideal forum solution but it at least works better than the old mess. vBulletin 5 is shaping up to look more like that than this too. I'm going to be sad when I finally need to upgrade: http://www.vbulletin.com/vb5demo/

So there I was practicing upstairs at work and the boss says I can't practice there anymore. Mind you that I don't have my guitar plugged into an amp or anything.
I also play death metal through my Marshall Hanwell speaker while i am building bikes and have never had him complain.
When I asked him why I couldn't practice, he simply replied "because it makes you happy"
