So should I come in your house now and eat?

My most hated of bike brands

 I have several years wrenching in a shop and race support.

Why?
I won't tell you about my beloved 91 model trek 930, then.

I've owned one Trek road bike years ago. In a bike forum, we'd see a Armstrong noobs asking stuff like, "Are Trek's good bikes?" every week until it became a joke, like habanero peppers/gold hardware/birds here. Trek has made several good bike models throughout the years. I wish I could come up with an equivalent guitar manufacturer to best represent some of the hate for Treks out there... Maybe Gibson? :embarrassed:

Offhand, here are most of the bikes I've owned:
Raleigh -1 early era MTB 1984
Cannondale -2 MTB, 3 road (sold/traded)
Tommasini -1 lugged steel road (crashed, bent down tube)
Serotta -1 pre-suspension MTB (lost in a fire)
Nishiki -1 elevated chainstay MTB (sold)
Trek -1 aluminum road (scraped for parts)
Sommers -1 custom track (sold)
Romic -custom lugged road converted to fixed gear (sold)

Still own:
Eddy Merckx Fuga road (frame sitting in attic)
Giant TCR Composite carbon fiber road
Soma Rush fixed gear (my number 1 road)
Giant NRS-1 full suspension XC MTB
Gary Fisher Rig 29'er single speed MTB (my number 1 MTB)

Mornin' Wood. Wait, mornin' wood? I mean mornin' Woody. Still, seems like I'm stating something else.....

Woodrow, greeting you in the mornin' is tricky.

I need to sell a Bicomp on the eVilBay. The two button compressor has become a liability on a crowded board. It sits right next to another two button pedal...which is really the problem.

Morning.

My bike is a Giant Cypress. Lower budget, but better than the retail store stuff. Hope to hit the road with it soon, once the weather breaks a bit .

Went from a fairly quiet Sunday night to a world-tour project yesterday. Put well over 200 miles in going to 5 banks.

Wife says to relax and play my guitar today. After working out, I have no energy to argue .

I used to have a Marin. That's one you don't see very often.
My was stolen. That's when I got my trek.

Hmmm. I'm thinking about replacing the speaker in my Kustom 1x12 cab with a Fane AXA12 I have sitting around this weekend. It's simply laziness that's prevented me from doing it so far! I'm sorta' eager to see how the Kustom Defender 5H will sound through the Fane, and I hope to be getting the new Gibby "Les Paul Junior Special P90" on Thursday so that should give me some incentive...

Oh -- and my only bike is a Giant Cypress ST hybrid. It's got a steel frame so it weighs a bit, but I've put over 1500 miles on over the past year (12 miles each way to/from work) and it's required little maintenance. Pretty good for a $165 investment! I've thought about upgrading it, but until it gives up the ghost, it seems a waste to me... I've lost over 20 lbs since I started last April.
