No details yet. Apparently it leaked. If the price is right, this will replace my BOSS GT-1.
 
I'd be interested in that. I'd just use it as a modulation box, but if the price is right and the size is right, I could be up for it.

I read that. So you can get HXFX with fewer capabilities but more stomps to use it like a regular board. Or, you can get this and use it in your programmable looper, controlling everything via MIDI.
 
this is so much better than a H9. amp and cab sims, tons of effects, ability to control other pedals.


all you guys hesitant about line 6 based on playing something from them years ago should really try a helix. they are amazing. love mine.

I think they've really stepped it up with the HX line. This is a bit more than I want to spend, but it's undeniably fantastic.

I don't want or need amp or cab sims, way too much overkill for me. I've never played anything from Line 6 before, so I have no personal bias against them. With this unit, why would I drop $600 on something that I would use about a $150 out of it?

It may very well be a great piece of gear, with solid construction and awesome tones, but there isn't a snowball's chance in Hell that I will ever go back to Line 6.

When my HD500 actually worked, it sounded incredible. Unfortunately, between the insane volume issues, dodgy firmware updates, the build quality of the last Yugo off the assembly line on a Friday afternoon, the atrocious customer support, and the overt hostility from the fanbois on their forum when you would try to ask questions... no way. Fuck them in their stupid fucking meathead faces.

More pedals than the Tour De France

C'mon man...Line6 is like that crazy ex-girlfriend that you could never really totally forget. You'll be back. They always come back. :lol:
 
I tried out HXFX today. It does everything I want it to do and it sounds fantastic. While it's smaller than I thought it would be, it's still bigger than I'd like. OTOH, HX Stomp can be used as an interface, which I need, has a ton of amp models and IRs, which I would absolutely use, and is the same size as my Pitchfactor. And it has the effects loop my GT-1 doesn't so I can easily integrate it into my board instead of keeping it off-board.
