That's weird about the imovie. Haven't seen that before. On mine, I start imovie then plug in the usb mic and I get a dialog box asking which mic to use. ???

Marc, that's a Zemmy guitar if I've ever seen one. :thu: it's awesome!

Today was art/science experiment day at work. Custom molded seat and back cushions.
I use a multiadjustable wheelchair frame with bean bags on it. I pull air out of the bags with a pump til they get the consistency of modelling clay. Then I mold the bags around the patient til I'm happy with the shape.
From there I use a digitizing pen to capture the shape. Email that file to Otto Bock, they convert it to a CAD file, throw a block of foam in the carver and make some cushions. Way cool.

I'm bidding on a proper SM57. Hope to record me oranges soon. I will obviously then impose it upon you to listen to my mediocre recordings. :grin:
Well, I need to get a mic soon.

I'll probably find out my recording interface (basic pro tool essential) just doesn't cut it....... :lol:

HMMMMM.

Can they carve wood? You know, like, custom molded guitar bodies? Just a thought.
 
Remember I was all nervous about sending the Kat in not knowing about a replacement?
Played an ES-175 today. That was probably the nicest Epi I've ever played. Damn, it sounded HUGE. Even the stock pickups didn't suck. Pretty clear sounding.

My kids just discovered an old Pink Panther cartoon this morning. It's amazing how much more clever and less snarkey the old stuff was.
