Got one of the year's best gigs here tonight, so this particular Monday should end on a high note. Literally.
Tomorrow's our constitutional day, and usually the night before is the best party night (after new year's eve) - so we should have a packed pub to play in.

I've been through pretty much every drain stuff on the market and even bought myself an auger this weekend but I think this is deeper down the pipe. Probably 60 years worth of buildup.

Hell, I'm just glad you haven't burned the fucking thing by now.
It's pretty darn awesome. I'll try to keep the :sd: to a minimum, but I'm really excited about the guitar. It has a nice feel, I'm diggin' the short scale, and the pickups sound great. Very comfortable to play, and even a hack like me can squeeze some nice sounds out of this thing.
The ONLY thing that bugs me is purely aesthetic. I guess the first part of this special run had orange painted on each side of the fretboard binding, and it just looks kinda weird. It's not evenly applied either, which is a little shocking for a guitar like this. I asked some people about it, and others complained pretty loudly when they got theirs delivered. It's pretty stupid looking. The new ones don't have it. So, I'm gonna do some research to see if there's a way I can remove it without damaging the rest of the finish. I spent a bunch of money on it, so I don't wanna fuck it up, but I'd love to get it just plain white.
That's a minor beef though. The guitar's definitely a keeper. Even the wife likes it, and she pretty much hates all of my guitars. Let's just say that her tastes and Zemmy's tastes, in this area, are compatible.
