Your favourite song by Tell the truth and be honest for once in your life, when's the last time you had a nice hearty salad

My new friend and co-worker took me to a place called Sweet Green for lunch and I got something called the "Harvest Bowl" and well it is like they put a whole harvest right in my bowl, what a clean taste. OK? Is that OK with you? When is the last time you had a salad like this? Where was it? Was it good? It's just a salad ok?

The last salad I had was probably last week when I put tomato slices and cucumber slices in a bowl and sprinkled salt on them. I’m not a fan of big hearty salads; I like my greens cooked.

I usually grill some type of protein on the weekend that we eat on a couple times throughout the week. One of those nights, it usually goes on a salad. So last week.

Salads don’t have to suck. Fruits, nuts, grilled corn or peppers can take a meh salad to pinkies up level real quick.

I generally order salad with Italian food, even carry out, so I've had it a couple times in the last 2 months... but the last "good" salad was a few months ago... a "foodie" type restaurant said that they had a Charred Caesar salad like one of my favorite restaurants used to have.

It was close, but not as good. The place that we used to go to 2 or 3 times a month had a salad where they would cut a head of romain into halves, then throw it on the steak grill to char the edges. Once the crutons, shaved parmesan, and their custom made dressing were on there I swear to you the salad tasted like there had been a filet mignon nestled in the center of the lettuce. It had that smokey salty taste. This new one had the same char to the edge of the lettuce, but I think the dressing was missing some of that smokey flavor.

there is a 'mediterranean' restaurant here in town (The Grape Leaf) that makes the most amazing grilled chicken (shawarma) greek salad.
it's a meal by itself!!

Monday night I had a strawberry/Chicken salad for dinner. I am not a big fan of salads, but when you are supposed to cut carbs and cholesterol eating more veggies has to happen and salads are a big part of that. In general I am much more of a meat and starch eater (rice and pasta mainly). Cutting carbs and adding non-starch vegetables, a lot of them, frankly is no fun. But I am managing.

I like salad and have some at least every other day, if not more frequently - last time was last night

A couple of weeks ago. Got the big garden salad from Zaxbys but went to the local place for the chicken fingers to put in it because they are way better than Zaxbys chicken.

During the school year I'll take one for lunch 2-4 days a week. We had a dinner party last weekend, so I'm still eating leftovers. Last salad was last week.

I usually make a decent salad every night, to go with whatever I make for a main dish.

Had lettuce and tomatoes Monday. Had Potato salad yesterday.

Not sure what a hearty salad is. One that sticks to your ribs?
