Great....and not so great.
I love the guitar. I played it at rehearsal last night and it sounded awesome.
But there is a problem with the bass contour control. When you roll off the bass the volume goes to zero. And it was not like that a couple days ago - it happened at rehearsal. Since the back plate behind the contour pot is missing I am guessing this is not the first time this has happened. I might be a cold solder joint. At the worst case I just find out what pot is installed and buy a new one. I am really liking the Buckshot overall though. The bridge pick in that is awesome!
I really want to work with a female singer, but every time I do it's a huge headache. Even getting my sister to come sing on stuff is an elaborate plan. I guarantee she can out diva your diva.
Good luck with chick singers. Been there done that and left. Longest one was with the Heart tribute. Fortunately she and I got along very well and had no issues. I left that band because of the number two problem - no not that - the drummer.
The best chick singer story I have is playing the Whiskey and the Roxy on the strip. You got beautiful chicks in the front row cheering for us and then you begin to realize as well as remember that your chick singer is a lesbian
