That's good to know. I've read some bad feedback about their retrofit nuts which are 2 pieces held together by screws (and super glue). Apparently, it's a sustain killer. But, I suppose it could also be improper install. Some do-it-yourself people should not.

I've also crossed paths with an individual in a forum who claimed he put a one piece Earvana nut on an acoustic guitar. He said it made the tone sound spongy. But, when I questioned him he claimed it even sounded spongy when he played barre chords. Needless to say, I didn't believe him afterward.

`58 Gibson ES-140T. Looks like all the original parts have been replaced, but I couldn't pass it up for the price. I've wanted one of these since I was in high school.

Haven't had one for years, but I remember thinking they were cool back when I had no sense of good tone. :messedup:
