So what do you have coming in the mail?

An Ervana one piece shelf nut for my 1994 Ovation Ultra Deluxe acoustic/electric guitar. I guess I'm cheap because I think $35 + shipping is kinda steep for a little piece of plastic. But, this guitar has always had intonation issues at the open chord positions which is pretty ridiculous for an acoustic guitar. I'm betting I'll have to do some sanding and modifying to get it to work perfect, but I think that'll be easier than carving my own shelf nut from scratch.
 
I got the promotional $50 gift cert for GC.com today...don't know yet what I'm-a-gonna do with it yet.
 
a set of Kluson six on a plate tuners for my 69 Gibson non-reverse Firebird. Just bought it. Everything is awesome cept the tuners. These are direct replacements that Kluson still manufactures.
 
I wish I could say a hot 23 year-old Russian (or Lithuanian) bride, but I wouldn't be able to afford the divorce :tongue:
 
Probably another reminder to send in the census form that I already mailed in weeks ago, followed by yet another census form with the words "YOUR RESPONSE IS REQUIRED BY LAW," and then another card in the mail telling me about the importance of the census.

V60s are great, I had some in my old parts strat for a bit and they sounded very nice :thu: Brian is great to deal with as well, I asked him so many questions and he didn't show any signs of getting sick of answering :grin: The American Tim Mills, I daresay!

FWIW I have Earvanas on all my Fender style guitars. They really do work.
Takes some sanding prior to installing but well worth it imo. :)

They work as advertised. And main thing is you don't have to deal with tuning offsets like the Feiten system, just tune it up like any other guitar.

The only time it can be a bitch imo, is when playing in a band with guitar players that have guitars with less than good intonation. In those cases it gets even uglier. :grin:
Absolutely perfect for studio work though. :love:

That's why I want them. I remember that some of the LTDs used to come with them stock and always wanted on then.
