That's the main reason why I pay for spotify. Even if no one uses it they have access to the music when they need it, we all are working off the same versions and I can listen and review while I'm at the gym

I wish we had the internet when I was really gigging. We didn't do a ton of covers, but sometimes we would just figure out the tune from hearing it on the radio a few times and trying to remember how it went.
Almost every arrangement I find for a song online is incomplete or doesn't incorporate enough of the song's groove or nuances. They're like cliff notes of the song.

The flip side of that is the abundance of tab and youtube "tutorials" on songs make some people lazy with poor ears.
