WTF: so, how's your local weather?

one of my fave Python bits ever.

and was my Da's first exposure to them...
how I"d been a fan and he'd never seen them is still beyond me.

the bit about the Last Supper painting had him in tears, he was laughing so hard.
"THREE CHRISTS?!?"

one of my fondest memories of Da, and also one of the last times I saw him before he died.

I always think about him when I watch the Hollywood Bowl gig.

81 F right now and it is expected to cool down to the mid 60's over night.

Snow/freezing rain forecast for the next 2 days. That may not sound unusual, but I'm 30 miles east of New Orleans.
Nasa is shutting the whole Center down for tomorrow and part of Wednesday.

We had freezing rain/sleet/snow flurries this past Friday night. In the six southern counties of MS, there were 47 weather related accidents and over 200 in the New Orleans area.

Folks down here can't drive on a good day, imagine what a little ice and snow will do. I'm staying off the roads.

-9 here right now. This cold shit is getting old. We have an Artic Blast from Canada. I blame Canada for this. We should burn Canada so when we have an Artic Blast it gets warmer.

Been there done that Peeker (well not been in your neck of the woods but whatever). I cannot say that I miss that weather now that I live in Cali. 14 straight days of record breaking temperatures so far this year...so in the endless debate about global warming this year I'm a for who knows if I will be in a month :P

Nice. Too nice. It's the end of Jan and I am getting red flag fire warnings from weatherbug. This time of year we should be at about 30" of rain. We are at 2.16" Not good.

Not good.

Still not nearly as bad as what you've got, peeker. We're looking at -40-ish wind chills tonight.

Most of the schools have already called off tomorrow... when the kids are out waiting for the buses it will be -7, pre wind chill.

I"m with Jeremy, but about 60 miles north of Chicago. Stocked up on beer and rum. I'll go out in june I reckon.

well....let's put it this way......we've been colder than Barrow Alaska for a month now.....and i'm in NW Ohio for cris-sakes.
