Photography folks...recommendation for a decent camera under $200?

I had a Canon S3, and it is a great camera. I see S5 models on ebay for under $100.

Decent sensor.
Good optics.
Long zoom.
Hot shoe for external flash.
Hackable with CHDK to save raw format.
Uses 4 AA batteries (hint: buy eight eneloop batteries and charger, and you'll never worry about batteries)

I'd look at getting some of the addon lenses you can get for smartphones. MKBHD did a nice roundup of some of the lenses you can get here.

As noted, her iPhone is probably as good as most point and shoots these days.
