Oh, s#!t...GAS! Now with NGD!

The guitarist In my band has a new Pro Jet with the blacktops. They sound great clean to slight dirt. Think Link Wray or SRV for max dirt he uses. We don't play anything heavily distorted so I can't comment on how they sound for that.

All of my guitars are solid bodies and I've been wanting to add some "air" to my sound...I have been considering an Epi 339 but this thing has such an incredible sound...

You may have to try out a dozen 339s, but I played my uncles a few weeks ago for a few hours. It got the gas starting.

It's been a long time since a guitar has spoken to me and made me want to play it all day, but this one does...I have not put it down since I got home...

I initially strung it up with a set of semi-flat GHS Nickel Rocker .11s, but they lost all definition on the lower strings so I restrung it again with my usual EB Slinky .10s and it came alive...did a full set up, got the action at a comfortable 4/64 at the 12th fret...they had the pickups set a mile from the strings so I brought them up to where I like them and now it has a beautiful bite and twang...

Clean it's as good as Mick's video, add a touch of overdrive and it sings with infinite sustain and a nice controllable feedback...

Just an amazing guitar...
