They (seconds ?) are already sold through Music Go Round, so there's that. Or you could order the Harley Bentons through Thomann (same guitars except for some of the sigs).
Vintage guitars are pretty common here and compete with squier and epiphone as far as price goes. I played a strat variant in a store a while ago and it was probably about the same as some of the nicer squier strats like the vintage vibe models. It was a decent instrument. I've not played their LP shaped stuff or any of their higher end stuff, just the regular model.

Midge actually put me in contact with the guy that just also happened to be at the booth when I got there. Via direct contact, he can facilitate a direct purchase. I offered to take that display model right then and there at full pop, but it was no go with another day and a half left of the show. If I'd wanted to drive back up there tonight, I could get that very guitar. As it is, I'll be calling the rep this week to arrange for my personal guitar.

I am here to tell you that despite what you may have heard about Vintage, they are making KILLER guitars at stupid cheap price points. Both of those guitars were like a textbook example of what a high end Gibson SHOULD be. The craftsmanship is spot on. The fit and finish is spectacular. The electronics and pups are brilliant.
They have that inexplicable feeling of heft and solidity that a classic Gibson has without feeling cumbersome.

The neck joint is what it is... Gibson-like. I don't know what if anything they may have done to mitigate that Gibsoness, but I can put you in direct contact with the guy who can answer any and all questions you may have.
I've never been hung up on wood type. To me it's all about how a guitar plays, feels, and sounds. These guitars check all 3 boxes verily. Having a full body and neck covered in a thick finish should pretty much make the wood type underneath irrelevant beyond the question of strength.
I can tell you that they feel exceptionally solid. They have a mass and substance to them that was certainly missing on my PRS Custom 24 at 6 times the price.

While the Strat sound didn't work for me, I loved the quality of the Vintage Summer of Love guitar that I owned. If it is any indication of their usual guitars, I would give them a thumbs up. I was curious to try one of their acoustics, but they don't seem to be readily available here.
