Hey guys/gals just wanted to post I was finally able to build a guitar for myself to keep. Just finished wiring it late last night and played it for several hours at gig volume today. So many tones out of this wiring scheme. 10 switchable and everything in between. Can't wait to play this out. It will not stay looking new for long so here are some pics.

It has a Master Volume (Push/Push for Out of Phase on Neck), Variable Neck Coil Split, and Master Tone. The last two are on No Load pots for bypass option.

Well it's wired to the 5way like so.
Position 1 Neck Series
Position 2 Neck Parrallel
Position 3 Neck/Bridge Series
Position 4 Bridge Parallel
Position 5 Bridge Series

Then you hit the Push/Push and it throws the Neck out of phase. Since both PU's are going to a master volume, all positions are affected. So that's extra tones.

Then you can roll the Variable Neck Coil Tap and get some cool Strat-like tones. I wired it with a cap so when it's tapped it doesn't sound all thin, it sounds round and mellow.

So much fun just playing it on a clean channel. The Bridge PU shines on dirty through with the Tone bypassed. Pickups are Wolfetone Legends with a slightly hotter Bridge PU.

Will you make a video or some clips?
 
It has this kinda arch top vibe to it in person even though it's flat top electric. I find it interesting how a flat top and a non "floating" pickguard can affect playing and tone. I'm used to 2PU guitars like LP's with the guards on a bracket to kinda support the picking hand a bit. With this guitar, my picking hand is at a slightly different angle creating a more woody tone because of the angle of attack. Kinda rakes the winds a bit more with the pick. I really like it on clean stuff and aggressive on the dirty stuff.

Out of curiosity, how much would you charge to make another one? It's probably way out of my budget.
