NBA Playoffs?

Yeah I only gamble in the market too. And these days not even much of that since I'd be gambling my lunch (and breakfast and dinner) money. Besides sports gambling is not yet legal here so I'd have to know a bookie or go to vegas which isn't happening.

Finally, a game that was close at the end. Pulse is still racing...

Couple of big Game 5s coming up now...

Wackiest ending of a playoff game ever. You think it's over and GS loses, but no....GS fouls on the rebound giving them a chance at another possession? That seemed messed up. Would have been a helluva way for Houston to lose.

The last minute or so was unsatisfying with both teams botching crucial possessions, and then that. Pretty weird all right.

Game 5 is going to be intense. I may need a mouth guard so I don't wear my teeth down to nubs.

Talk is that GSW blew the game, which they kind of did but I thought the Rockets simply wanted it more in the 4th. They were hustling to every loose ball and contesting every shot. The Rockets coach was right, the pressure was on GS and they folded when it mattered the most. I have them losing in 7 as well. GW will likely blow up the team when they don't make/win the finals like everyone (including them) thought they would.

With the roster they have, anything less than a championship is more than a disappointment, it’s a borderline embarrassment.

I didn't watch - kinda sorry I missed it. But my rhetoric reflects my reality - I just don't like NBA basketball. I love Boston teams because that's my personal history, but ... meh. I'll DVR tonight and if the outcome looks close in the 3rd, start at the beginning and hope it's entertaining.

I miss good pro basketball.

Celtics won. Kids look like they're maturing. Officiating awful again (as tired of typing it as you are of reading it).

But: Jesus, Tyronn Lue is dumb. And LeBron looks a bit shell shocked.

This post-season is seeing a rapid turnover in "who's best" conversations. I really don't see LeBron as best any more; he's great, but now he's "one of" vs. The Guy Who Can Choose When To Win. You don't go from the top of the mountain to the bottom in one moment (unless it's a bad injury), and I think he's hitting the rungs on the way down, game by game, before our eyes.

This has proven to be very prescient. Hitting the rungs on the way down, game by game. Indeed.

Rockets up 3-2! What a tough game that was.

Hope Chris Paul’s hammy is okay for Saturday.
Rockets had a legit chance to win both games 6 and 7, but fell apart after the half...both of which they were leading. One day, Harden will learn that they are a better team when they move the ball instead of him standing at the 3-pt line dribbling until the shot clock gets to 5.

Another GS v. Cleveland final. yawn

I wanted the Celtics/GSW. I think that would have been a fun matchup to watch over a finals series.

A bit premature based on last night's game. He's already the Finals MVP IMO even if they lose in 4. He was simply unstoppable last night. Really they should have won that game. I think the blocking call was correct though I think the way it was reversed was not...I have no idea what JR was thinking. KD was not very good IMO. Much will have to change if GSW are going to win in 4, Cavs in 6 or 7 a definite possibility because of LeBron

I was being intensely sarcastic.
