National Anthem

So it's early at work and the one other co-worker here right now was asking me about other countries national anthems. I told him I personally like Canada's in terms of a song I can tolerate hearing the most. I don't mind ours, I just like Canada's melody a little better. So it got me thinking if the US decided to have someone re-write a new national anthem and you got to choose who did it, who would you choose? The only stipulations are someone born in the US and still alive. I'd personally go with Tom Petty.
