Mad Max Fury Road: Guitar Guy

And somehow the natural arch bridge that gets blown up behind them, thereby blocking the pass, is somehow miraculously restored just days later.

I don't think they blew up the bridge -- rather the rocks on the canyon walls on either side (at least that's what my wife said when I mentioned this.)

Jeez, time to distribute some much needed med's.

I've taken wet shits that were more interesting than that movie. You've been warned.

While it's basically a mutual back-patting society, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences recognizes the quality and innovation of MM:FR enough to award it TEN Oscar nominations, the 2nd most of any film of the year. These include nominations for big ones like Best Picture, Best Director, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Visual Effects and two for sound design.

Deride it if you want (and, opinions being subjective, you're perfectly within your rights to do so), but the pros see it for what it is: an amazing achievement, dripping with pure adrenaline and gasoline.

Anything for script, plot, writing?

It's quite all right for those with no brain or for those with a brain who have disengaged it and just want the adrenaline and visuals...but not if you notice stupid sh!t that doesn't make sense.

There's one award for that: best screenplay. This is not a plot- or dialogue-heavy movie, so it was never in the running for that award.

But that's okay, shit on all the other recognition it got. While you're at it, why not criticize The Pianist for not getting nominations for special effects or production design?

Whatever, dude. You're so damned superior. Congratu-fucking-lations.

Fair enough, though I'm not that much of a film buff to pay attention to various awards and achievements in film. I like what I like and that's good enough for me.

Personally, i hated the film. If it didn't have "Mad Max" in the title, I never would have watched it. But it did have Mad Max in the title and i found it unworthy of the name.
